What to expect from the 2019 IPhone

Apple is expected to launch the new set of iPhones this year but leaks have already started to appear. If you're looking at purchasing it however, I'd probably wait for next year or look at Android. If you want to know some of the details however, here's all of the leaked information.

Display: Couldn't be more similar
The 2019 iPhone line-up consists of the same types of phones. The regular version (the iPhone XI or 11) with a 5.8 inch OLED panel, a Max or Pro edition with a 6.5 inch OLED screen and a budget version with a 6.1 inch LCD display. The displays should be produced by either Samsung or LG although I'd predict that Samsung is used for the OLED's while LG is for the LCD. It's also plausible that the regular and max editions of the phone would have support for HDR10+, just like the S10 and Note 10 series. The notch is also rumoured to stay the same size.

Camera: An ugly but useful change
All the variations of the phone are supposed to gain an extra camera. The budget iPhone would get a telephoto lens while the other two versions will recieve a wide-angle camera. All of the iPhones however, are rumored to house these cameras in a square shaped module. This module can be found all over the internet, and it's quite or obtrusive. The front facing cameras on all three iPhones however, will increase from 7 to 12 megapixels.

Performance: A slight boost
The phones are expected to be powered by the upgraded A13 bionic processor but this upgrade will only be noticeable to a small group of people. It's also rumoured to support reverse wireless charging. Some other improvements include the adoption of WiFi 6 and 4x4 MIMO for faster connection speeds, a bigger battery and 4GB of RAM for the budget iPhone.

Unlikely upgrades: Small yet significant
There are some rumours that the latest phones could remove the lightning port in favour of USB C. This would also allow for quicker wired charging. Speaking of which, it's also possible that the fast charger may be included in the box for once.

Summary: Better to skip
In my opinion, this update is extremely minimal and will not be worth the inevitable $1000+price tag. I'd say wait out another year or look towards Android for innovation and value.

Everything about the Galaxy Note 10

Samsung recently launched the Galaxy Note 10 series at the August Unpacked event. These phones has been heavily leaked and this event only confirms most of these leaks. The Note 10 line-up has consists of two phones, the vanilla Note 10  and the Note 10+. In this post, I will discuss the specs, differences and my opinion of who should purchase these devices.
